Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit of 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications, relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC(non-creamy layer) candidates. Age relaxations as per Government of India orders are applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen, Widows, Divorced Women and Women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried.

Eligibility criteria: 

• Essential qualification of ME/M.Tech/MSc(Tech) or equivalent degree should be in First class with a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate of allsemesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 Point scale. 
• The Essential / Pre-qualification of MSc/BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree should also be in First Class with an aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.
• The qualifications should have been obtained through Full Time course of study of prescribed duration. NET/equivalent qualification is essential wherever prescribed. 
• Any national level examination conducted by a Central Government Department/Agency for admission to Ph.D. programme is considered as equivalent to NET.

Selection Process: Candidates shortlisted based on % of marks shall be called for Interview at Hyderabad tentatively scheduled in June, 2016.
